Yay!

We still have 6 fish. 5 guppies and a neon. Poor lonely neon. I told Lee Joe it would probably survive because they need to be in a school. He didn't believe me but its still swimming healthy like. The guppies are friendly to it. At least we don't have to bury the dead fish. It would become quite a grave yard out there.

Hannah meets her teacher today. Kelsea got some shots yesterday and her arms hurt all day. Amber did well with band camp yesterday. I guess she is loud and that is a good thing.

Guppies, do you want a lot of fish. I heard that thoes things make lots of babies. Ryleigh had four shots before school and she never said that her arm hurt. Maybe she did not tie the two together.

Shots, ugh. I have to jump through hurdles every year for Claire because I decided to exercise my parental right to chose what goes into my child's body. They make it as difficult as possible. I hope the rest of them have copies of their records from the other school because Matt lost the originals

The only shot I have turned down so far is the chicken pox vaccine and that was one, at the time, my doctor wasn't pushing either. I don't feel the need to fight the system because I have girls and no adverse side effects to the shots. Boys tend to be more sensitive. The ones Kelsea got are relatively new too, I always have mixed feelings about shots especially when new but I want to see my girls stay healthy. I trust my doctor. My brother had problems with the old DTP shot when he was little so I am very aware of side effects but it is different now and my mom would get sick when she was exposed to the kids after the oral polio vaccine but they don't give that anymore either. I have worried exposing friends kids to certain things when their kids aren't vaccinated. Especially after my kids get vaccinated there is a higher risk after some vaccines of the unvaccinated child contracting it when they are in close contact with the just vaccinated child. But like I said, the most dangerous one for that was the oral polio and it is now only given in shot form. So I suppose that is my soap box forum. Everyone is entitled to their view.
